Painting Bob: Stage Three

I am concentrating on the sign at this stage as I do not want to leave the frisket on the paper longer than necessary. There is a long way to go on the letters but I have a good idea where I am headed color wise.

Painting Bob: Stage Two

Is it a "happy accident" when the cat walks across your painting? I'm hoping I can turn it into one because that is what happened when I left the painting drying flat after stretching the paper. Unfortunately, the paw print in the sky area of the painting does not seem to be going anywhere, I will probably end up painting the sky with acrylic.

Painting Bob: Stage One

Bob is an iconic figure in my neighborhood. I have often thought that he would be fun to paint and finally decided to do it. This is the very beginning. I have put down a lot of masking to protect the neon lettering. I am using both Winsor Newton Naples Yellow & Holbein Jaune Brilliant, opaque colors that I normally do not use.
